Ellen Milne 1904

This small Scottish sampler is probably from Kilmarnock just south west of Glagow. This sampler is the second in the series with religious themes. The model is stitched on 40 count Sandstone linen over two threads with DMC to match the original stitched on 20 count perforated paper with very fine tapestry wool. The finished size is 5 1/4" wide by 7" tall and the stitch count is 108 wide by 144 tall. Stitches used are cross, straight, and running stitch. This chart is suitable for beginners.
