Martha Wood 1853

This model is stitched on 32 count Maritime White Linen from Lakeside Linens with Needlepoint Inc silk mostly over two threads of linen.  The verse and names are over one thread of linen.  The design size is 200 stitches wide by 255 stitches high.  The finished size on 32 count fabric is 12 1/4" by 16 1/4".   Stitches used are Cross over one and two, Algerian Eye, Rice, Four-sided Stitch and Back Stitch.

Geneaolgical information is included on the back cover. The house on the bottom is done in rice stitch and special charts are provided for the spectacular trees.
